The Golden Triangle is the most Tourist Oriented part of India... I did this trip with only minor problems... Possible Problems are:
Tuk Tuk Drivers Always want to take you to a "nice market" and its almost impossible to stop them... Get your Fare set FIRMLY in Advance Before you Get into a Tuk Tuk...and REPEAT to Driver "No Markets!"
BEWARE of Fares that are "As You Like"...IT will be As they Tell you and very high!
Most Hotel Desks can be helpful in getting you on tours that are Reasonable and Safe. Udipur would be an easy side trip...Rajastan is very colorful
Don't EVER Accept Free Drinks from anyone... Eat in Crowded Places that have Lots of Locals...
I generally eat bananas and oranges I can peel myself...India has some good packaged cookies etc that are safe.
Look Confident...Walk Fast even if you're Lost... and avoid Aggressive "Too Helpful" People
