Its hard to select only one photo to submit...but the photo below had the iconic Giza monuments, plus a lot of people preparing for a day at Giza...
Giza presents a very bright panorama...lots of bright tans that blend together at a distance... But the foregrounds are mostly dark...so its hard to darken the background .. without having the foreground go into deep shadow or black... Photographing the Grand Canyon presents a similar challenge...
Now its time to consider a submission for 2011...
